Ace, TX

Ace is a small town located in Williamson County, Texas. The population was 1,821 at the 2010 census. Ace is home to the Ace Hotel and Casino as well as several other businesses and attractions. The town was founded in 1892 by a group of investors who were looking for a place to build a railroad depot. Ace quickly became an important stop on the railroad line and grew rapidly thanks to its location near the intersection of two major highways.

Today, Ace is still an important community due to its proximity to Dallas and Austin. The town has seen significant growth in recent years, with new businesses opening and existing businesses expanding their operations. The local economy is based largely on tourism, with visitors coming for the casino as well as the many attractions and activities available in the area. Ace is also home to several notable residents, including country music singer Reba McEntire and actor Bill Paxton.
