Cedar Creek is a small town located in Williamson County, Texas. The population was 1,827 at the 2010 census. Cedar Creek is home to many businesses and attractions that make it a desirable place to live and work.

The town of Cedar Creek was founded in 1887 by George W. Hargrave and James A. Caldwell. The town was named after the cedar trees that grew near the original settlement site. Cedar Creek is located in central Williamson County, just north of Georgetown and east of Round Rock.
