Helotes, TX

Helotes is a city located in San Antonio County, Texas, United States. The population was 8,827 at the 2010 census. It is part of the San Antonio metropolitan area.

The city was founded in 1881 by John H. Helotes and named for him. The Helotes Independent School District serves students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade.
