White Deer is a small town located in Williamson County, Texas. The population was 1,812 at the 2010 census. White Deer is known for its antique shops and galleries, as well as its proximity to Austin.

The town of White Deer was founded in 1887 by J.M. "Pete" Patterson and his wife, Addie Belle Patterson. The Pattersons were early settlers in Williamson County and played an important role in the development of the area. White Deer is located on the eastern edge of Williamson County near Round Rock and Austin.
