Garland, UT

Garland is a city located in Salt Lake County, Utah, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 10,927. Garland is part of the Salt Lake City metropolitan area.

The city was founded in 1881 and named for Judge Garland B. Hays, who served on the Utah Territorial Supreme Court from 1875 to 1880. The first post office opened in 1882.
