West Valley City, UT

West Valley City is a city located in Salt Lake County, Utah, United States. The population was 97,912 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Salt Lake City metropolitan area.

The city was incorporated on November 15, 1951 and named after West Valley City, Utah which was founded in 1881. The city's motto is "E Pluribus Unum" (Latin for "Out of many, one").

West Valley City is located at 39°10′N 111°4′W (39.1733,-111.0769). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of , all land.
