Gore, VA

Gore is a small town located in Giles County, Virginia. The population of Gore was 1,827 at the 2010 census. Gore is known for its beautiful rolling hills and fertile farmland. The town was founded in 1788 by James Gore and his brother-in-law, Dr. John Buchanan. The town was named after Sir Edmund Burke, an Irish statesman and philosopher.
