Rappahannock Academy, VA

Rappahannock Academy is a private, coeducational boarding and day school located in the town of Fredericksburg, Virginia. The school was founded in 1816 and has a current enrollment of approximately 640 students from grades 9-12. Rappahannock Academy is a member of the Association of Independent Schools of Northern Virginia (AISNV).

The school's real estate portfolio includes six properties: two campus buildings (the Main Building and the Science Building), three residential properties (the Cottage, the Lodge, and the Retreat), and one commercial property (the Rappahannock Academy Bookstore). The Main Building was built in 1906 and features classrooms, faculty offices, a library, an auditorium/gymnasium, a dining hall, and student residences.
