Easton, WA

Easton is a small town located in the eastern part of King County, Washington. The population was just over 2,000 people as of the 2010 census. Easton is known for its natural beauty and its proximity to Seattle.

Easton has a long history as a lumber town. The first sawmill was built in 1852, and by 1892 there were twelve mills operating in Easton. However, the lumber industry declined in the early twentieth century, and by 1950 only three mills remained in Easton.

In the 1970s, Easton began to experience a revival as a bedroom community for Seattle. New housing developments were built, and businesses started to move into the town. Today, Easton is home to several restaurants and businesses, as well as several parks and recreational facilities.
