Edgerton, WI

Edgerton is a small town located in the northwest corner of Wisconsin. The population was 1,827 at the 2010 census. The town is located on U.S. Highway 2, just south of the Minnesota border and west of Superior. Edgerton has a rich history dating back to 1853 when it was founded as a railroad stop on the Chicago, Milwaukee and St Paul Railroad line. The town's name comes from an early settler who named it after his home town in England.

Today, Edgerton is a thriving community with many businesses and attractions. The main industries are agriculture (mainly dairy) and tourism, with visitors coming for its natural beauty and proximity to several popular outdoor recreation areas, including Whitefish Dunes National Lakeshore, Lake Superior Provincial Park and Voyageurs National Park.
