Hudson, WI

Hudson is a small town located in the southeast corner of Wisconsin. The population was 1,853 at the 2010 census. Hudson is home to several businesses and attractions, including a casino, an amusement park, and a golf course. The town's economy is based largely on tourism and real estate.

The first settlers arrived in Hudson in the early 1800s. The town was founded in 1837 by Solomon Sibley and named for General Henry Hudson, who explored what is now New York City during the 17th century. Early businesses included a sawmill and a gristmill. In 1857, Hudson became the first community in Wisconsin to have a telephone line installed.

Today, Hudson is home to several businesses and attractions that contribute to its economy. These include a casino, an amusement park, and a golf course.
