The town of Little Suamico, Wisconsin is located in the northwest corner of the state. The population was 1,898 at the 2010 census. The town is located on the banks of the Menominee River and is surrounded by rural farmland.

The first settlers arrived in 1836 and established a small trading post on the banks of the Menominee River. The town was named for Suamico, Ontario, where many of the early settlers had originated. In 1851, a sawmill was built and began to transform Little Suamico into a prosperous community. By 1900, there were more than 20 businesses in town and it had become one of the leading agricultural communities in Wisconsin.

Today, Little Suamico remains an important agricultural community with a strong tradition of civic involvement. The town has two churches - Grace Lutheran Church and Saint John's Catholic Church - as well as a public library and several small businesses. There are also several restaurants and convenience stores scattered throughout town.
