Milton, WI

Milton is a small town located in southeastern Wisconsin. The population was 2,814 at the 2010 census. Milton is home to the Milton Historical Society Museum and the Milton Farmers Market.

The town of Milton was founded in 1837 by settlers from New York. The first settler, Ebenezer Huntington, named the town after John Milton's Paradise Lost. The town grew slowly at first, but began to prosper after the arrival of the railroad in 1855. Today, Milton is a thriving community with a strong economy based on agriculture and manufacturing.
