Renters have also seen their costs go up during this time period. The median rent price in the CSA was $850 in December of 2016. By December of 2017, that number had increased to $950. And as of June 2018, the median rent price was a whopping $1,050 – an increase of 24%!

There are a number of factors driving these trends. One is simply supply and demand – there are more people wanting to live in the CSA than there are homes available for sale or rent. This has caused prices to go up as buyers and renters compete for available properties. Another factor is that Jackson is becoming increasingly popular as a destination for retirees and young professionals alike. This influx of new residents has put even more pressure on an already tight housing market.

Whatever the reasons behind it, there’s no denying that real estate prices in the CSA have been on the rise lately – and there’s no sign that this trend will be slowing down any time soon!
