The Branson, MO metropolitan statistical area (MSA) is located in the southwest corner of Missouri. The MSA includes all of Taney and Stone counties and part of Christian County. According to the 2010 census, the MSA has a population of 417,334.

The housing market in the Branson MSA has been strong in recent years. The median home price in the MSA was $160,000 in 2017, up from $145,000 in 2016. The number of homes sold in the MSA also increased in 2017, with 2,842 homes sold compared to 2,625 homes sold in 2016.
