There is no doubt that the Odessa, TX metropolitan statistical area (MSA) has been one of the hardest hit areas in terms of the housing market crash. However, there are signs that the market is beginning to rebound. Home sales have increased for three consecutive months, and prices have begun to stabilize. Additionally, foreclosures are down significantly from their peak in 2010.

All of these factors point to a slowly improving housing market in Odessa. However, it is important to remember that the market is still far from healthy.
