There is no doubt that the Sandusky, OH metropolitan statistical area (MSA) has been hit hard by the housing market crash of 2008. However, there are signs that the market is beginning to rebound. According to the National Association of Realtors, home sales in the MSA increased by 5.6% in 2013, and they are predicted to rise another 3.9% in 2014. The median home price in the MSA is also on the rise, increasing 4.5% in 2013 and an additional 2.8% in 2014.
