Mulga, AL

Mulga is a small town in Baldwin County, Alabama, located about halfway between Mobile and Montgomery. The population was 1,814 at the 2010 census. Mulga is known for its cotton plantations and the Mulga Mill, which was once one of the largest cotton mills in the South.

Real estate in Mulga is dominated by plantation homes from the late 19th century. These homes are large and elaborate with many features not typically found on smaller homes in today's market. Many of these properties have been converted into bed and breakfasts or vacation rentals. There are also a few newer subdivisions built around 2000 that offer more contemporary styles of home construction.
