Berryville is a small town in eastern Arkansas, located on the Ouachita River. The population was 2,836 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Fayetteville- Springdale- Rogers Metropolitan Statistical Area.
The town's economy is based largely on agriculture and tourism. The local agricultural products include cotton, corn, soybeans, and cattle. There are also several wineries in the area. Berryville is also a popular tourist destination because of its proximity to Mount Magazine National Monument and other natural attractions in the Ouachita Mountains.
Real estate in Berryville has been highly affected by both economic conditions and fluctuations in the local housing market over the past few years. In general, prices for homes have trended upward over time; however, there has been significant variation between neighborhoods within the town limits. As of 2016, median home prices were $130,000; however, this varied significantly depending on location within Berryville (see table below).
