Cedarville, AR

Cedarville is a small town located in Benton County, Arkansas. The population was 2,827 at the 2010 census. Cedarville is home to the Cedarville School District and the Cedarville- Benton County Airport.

The town of Cedarville was founded in 1873 by settlers from Tennessee. The town was named for the cedar trees that grew abundantly in the area. The first businesses in Cedarville were a grocery store and a blacksmith shop. Today, there are several businesses in the town including a bank, a pharmacy, two restaurants, an ice cream shop, and a hair salon.

The main industry in Cedarville is agriculture. There are several farms in the area that produce crops such as cotton, soybeans, wheat, and corn. There is also an animal feed mill located in Cedarville that produces feed for livestock farms throughout Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Cedarville has a population of mostly middle-class families who enjoy living in a small town atmosphere with plenty of amenities available nearby. The community has an active Chamber of Commerce that sponsors events throughout the year including golf tournaments and bingo nights.
