Culver City, CA

Culver City is a city located in Los Angeles County, California. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 36,094. Culver City is known for its Mediterranean Revival architecture and for its high-end retail stores and restaurants. The city was founded in 1903 by local real estate developer J.M. Burns and was originally named Venice of the West.

Today, Culver City is one of the most expensive places to live in Los Angeles County, with an average home price exceeding $1 million. The city's many affluent residents have helped make it one of the most desirable places to live in Southern California. In recent years, however, Culver City has seen a decline in its population due to rising housing costs and a lack of available jobs within the city limits. Despite this challenge, Culver City remains an important part of Los Angeles' cultural landscape and continues to be home to many well-known businesses and institutions.
