Diamond Springs, CA

Diamond Springs is a small town located in the Sierra Nevada foothills, about an hour east of Sacramento. The town was founded in 1851 and was originally known as Dutch Flat. Diamond Springs became a popular tourist destination in the early 1900s because of its hot springs, which were used by miners and other visitors to cure various ailments. In the 1930s, Diamond Springs became a popular retirement community because of its mild climate and scenic surroundings. Today, Diamond Springs is still a popular tourist destination, with many retirees living there year-round.

The real estate market in Diamond Springs is very competitive due to its limited supply of homes and high demand from retirees who want to live close to the hot springs. Because of this high demand and limited supply, prices for single-family homes have increased more than 50% since 2007.
