North Hills, CA

North Hills is a community located in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles, California. The population of North Hills was approximately 25,000 as of the 2010 census. The median household income in North Hills was $126,000 as of 2009.

The history of North Hills can be traced back to the late 1800s when a small farming community began to form near what is now the intersection of Ventura Boulevard and Woodman Avenue. In 1907, a group of wealthy businessmen from Los Angeles established a country club called Bel-Air Country Club just north of where North Hills would later develop. Over time, Bel-Air Country Club grew into one of Southern California's most prestigious golf clubs and its membership base included some of Hollywood's most influential figures.

In the 1940s and 1950s, North Hills experienced significant growth as it became home to many middle-class families who were attracted to its peaceful suburban atmosphere and excellent schools. This period saw the construction of many large homes on large lots that are still popular among homeowners today.

Today, North Hills remains an affluent community with a strong sense of community spirit. Many residents volunteer their time at local charities or participate in neighborhood events such as block parties and holiday celebrations. The town also boasts several well-known businesses including Jamba Juice, Starbucks, and Cold Stone Creamery which have helped make it one of Los Angeles' most vibrant commercial districts.
