Riverside, CA

Riverside, California is a city located in Riverside County, California. As of the 2010 census, the population was 203,951. The city is home to the University of California, Riverside and is also known for its agricultural industry and citrus production. Riverside was founded in 1887 by the Southern Pacific Railroad as a stop on its route from Los Angeles to San Diego. The railroad named the town after the rivers that run through it—the Santa Ana River and the San Bernardino River.

Real estate in Riverside has always been popular due to its close proximity to major metropolitan areas such as Los Angeles and San Diego as well as its many recreational opportunities.
