Squaw Valley is a ski resort located in the Lake Tahoe area of California. The resort has over 650 acres of skiable terrain, making it one of the largest ski resorts in North America. Squaw Valley was founded in 1931 and has been operated by Vail Resorts since 1998.

The Squaw Valley Ski Resort is home to three ski areas: Heavenly, Northstar, and Alpine Meadows. These three areas are connected by a network of trails and slopes that make up over 650 acres of skiing terrain. The resort also features two snowboarding areas: Snow Summit and Eagle Ridge. There are also four tubing hills open during wintertime: Avalanche Run, Big Bear Terrain Park, Discovery Canyon, and Gondola Hill.
