Peachtree Corners is a city located in Fulton County, Georgia, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 33,812. Peachtree Corners is a suburb of Atlanta and is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. The city's name derives from its location at the intersection of Peachtree Road and Corners Road ( Georgia State Route 9).

The city was founded in 1892 as a small railroad town on land donated by Elisha Candler. The town grew rapidly with the arrival of Atlantans seeking new homes outside the congested downtown area. In 1906, Peachtree Corners incorporated as a town and by 1910 it had reached its present size with a population of 10,000 people. A major factor in Peachtree Corners' growth was its location at the intersection of two major railroads - the Western & Atlantic Railroad (now Norfolk Southern) and the Georgia Central Railroad (now CSX Transportation). These railroads served as transportation hubs for goods coming into Atlanta from all over Georgia and Alabama.

Today, Peachtree Corners remains an important transportation hub for both freight and passengers within metro Atlanta. The city's economy is based largely on services such as retail sales, health care services, information technology services, professional services and manufacturing.
