Golconda, IL

Golconda is a small town located in southern Illinois. The population of Golconda was just over 2,000 as of the 2010 census. The town is situated on the banks of the Saline River and is known for its fertile farmland and beautiful natural scenery. Golconda is also home to several businesses and industries, including a paper mill, a meatpacking plant, and a pharmaceutical plant.

Real estate in Golconda is dominated by single-family homes. The majority of these homes were built in the 1950s and 1960s, but there are also some newer homes available.
