Guthrie Center, IA

Guthrie Center is a small town located in the northeast corner of Iowa. The population was 1,898 at the 2010 census. Guthrie Center is home to a number of businesses and attractions, including a post office, grocery store, bank, gas station, and several restaurants. The town's main attraction is its historic downtown district. The downtown area features several buildings that were built in the early 1900s. These buildings include the Guthrie County Courthouse, which was built in 1912; the Masonic Temple, which was built in 1914; and the Guthrie County Museum, which was built in 1924. Other attractions in Guthrie Center include the Guthrie County Fairgrounds and Lake Esther.
