Okoboji is a small town located in Sac and Fox Nation, Iowa. The population was 1,827 at the 2010 census. Okoboji is known for its lakes, fishing, and hunting. The town was founded in 1868 by the Sac and Fox Nation. It was named after the Okoboji River which flows through the town.
