Clay Center, KS

Clay Center is a small town in Johnson County, Kansas, located about 20 miles south of Wichita. The population was 1,851 at the 2010 census. Clay Center is home to the Clay Center Antique Mall and the Clay Center Historical Museum.

The town's economy is based largely on its antique mall and historical museum. The antique mall has been in operation since 1978 and features more than 100 dealers selling antiques, collectibles, and vintage items. The museum opened in 1988 and features exhibits on local history, pioneer life, art history, and natural history.

Clay Center is also home to several businesses that provide services related to real estate: a real estate brokerage firm; a mortgage company; a title company; and an insurance company. These businesses provide services to residents of Clay Center and surrounding areas.
