Osborne is a small town in Johnson County, Kansas, located about thirty miles west of the city of Wichita. The population was 1,827 at the 2010 census. Osborne was founded in 1871 and named for Amos Osborne, a railroad official. The town's economy is based on agriculture and manufacturing.
