The Price of Home in Foxboro, MA

Foxboro is a town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 29,814 at the 2010 census. Foxboro is home to Gillette Stadium, the home of the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL).

The town was first settled in 1729 as part of a grant from King George II to Colonel Benjamin Church. The area now known as Foxboro was originally part of Church's plantation, and included what are now the towns of Easton and Norfolk. In 1853, Foxboro became an incorporated town.

In 1871, Charles Follen McKim designed and built what is now known as the McKim Building on Main Street in downtown Foxboro. It is one of only two buildings in America that has been designated a National Historic Landmark both for its architecture and for its association with Charles Follen McKim (the other being his father's house in Providence). The building currently houses offices for Patriot Place LLC., which manages Gillette Stadium and other Patriot-related properties.

In 1903, Foxborough erected a water tower to provide drinking water for residents and businesses in the town. The tower still stands today and can be seen from many parts of town.

In 1912, Foxborough built its first fire station on School Street near where Fire Station 1 currently stands. In 1938, a second fire station was built on Main Street next to the original fire station; this building still stands today and serves as headquarters for both departments. In 1984-1985, an extensive renovation project was undertaken on both fire stations; during this time they were renamed Station 1 & 2 respectively after longtime firefighters Bill & Kathy Flynn who had served at each station since it opened over 50 years earlier!

Today there are three police precincts serving Foxborough: Precinct 1 covers central Foxborough; Precinct 2 covers eastern Foxborough; while Precinct 3 serves western portions of town including Route 128 which bisects downtown from north to south (the Flynn brothers also served at this precinct until their retirement). There are also several parks located throughout town including Memorial Park (home to Gillette Stadium), Veterans Memorial Park (which includes a memorial dedicated to fallen service members from all wars), Town Common Park (which features a pond), Franklin Park (home to numerous community events throughout the year), Westgate Park (formerly known as "The Meadows"), Pine Meadow Regional School District's Pine Meadow Elementary School playground/field complex which includes fields for football/soccer/hockey/tennis/croquet/volleyball etc., along with several smaller neighborhood parks scattered throughout town - all within easy walking distance from one another!

Foxboro has long been known as "The Home Of The Patriots" due to its close proximity to Gillette Stadium - home of the New England Patriots NFL team - as well as being host city for Super Bowl XXXVI in 2002 which saw then-New England quarterback Tom Brady lead his team back against St Louis Rams' Kurt Warner & company after trailing by 21 points with just over 8 minutes remaining in regulation play! Today there are numerous businesses located around Patriot Place LLC.'s properties that support both local commerce and tourism related activities around game days such as tailgating before games or concerts at nearby TD Garden - home arena of Boston Bruins NHL team - or watching games live on large outdoor screens situated around Gillette Stadium itself!
