Norwood, MA

Norwood is a town located in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. As of the 2010 census, the town had a population of 21,812. Norwood is home to the Prudential Center and other businesses. The town was first settled in 1638 as part of Charlestown. In 1892, it became an independent municipality. Norwood is known for its affluent residents and its many expensive homes.

Real estate in Norwood is very expensive due to its proximity to Boston and other major cities. The median price of a home in Norwood was $1 million as of March 2016. In addition to being expensive, Norwood has a limited number of homes available for purchase which has also contributed to high prices.
