New Haven, MI

New Haven is a city located in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 34,811. The city is situated on the eastern border of Wayne County and is bordered by Ionia County to the east and Eaton County to the south. The city's downtown area is located on the banks of the Detroit River and includes several historic buildings, including City Hall and St. John's Episcopal Church. New Haven has been designated a Tree City USA since 1984 and was named one of America's "Great Places" by Forbes in 2009.
