Lowry City, MO

Lowry City is a small town located in the northeast corner of Missouri. The population was just over 1,000 in 2010 and has been declining since then. Lowry City is a farming community that was founded in 1872. The town's economy was based on agriculture until the 1950s when it began to experience a decline in population and industry. Today, Lowry City is primarily a bedroom community for people who work in Kansas City or St. Joseph.
