Warrensburg, MO

Warrensburg is a small town located in Warren County, Missouri. The population was 2,829 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Warren County.

The town was founded in 1836 and named for General Joseph Warren, who fought in the American Revolution. The town's economy is based on agriculture and manufacturing. The largest employer in the town is Monsanto Company, which manufactures agricultural products. Other major employers include J&J Snack Foods and Missouri Bancorp.
