Central City, NE

Central City, Nebraska is a small town located in the northeast corner of the state. The population was just over 2,000 in 2010 and has been declining since then. Central City is located near the intersection of Interstate 80 and U.S. Highway 30, which makes it an important transportation hub for the surrounding area.

The primary industry in Central City is agriculture, with crops such as corn and soybeans grown on local farms. However, there is also a small manufacturing sector that produces agricultural equipment and chemicals. The main source of employment for residents is government services, with many people working for the local school district or government agencies.
