Bordentown is a borough in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 9,812,[10][11] reflecting an increase of 1,527 (+29.4%) from the 7,906 counted in the 2000 Census,[12] which had in turn increased by 2,542 (+50.2%) from the 5,711 counted in the 1990 Census.[13] Bordentown is located at (40.635822,-74.959444).[14]

The Borough was incorporated on February 21st 1894 and named for General James K. Borden who fought in both world wars and was Governor of New Jersey from 1881 to 1885.[15][16][17] Bordentown is home to many businesses including: a Ford dealership;[18] two banks (NBT Bank and PNC Bank);[19][20]; two restaurants (Taco Bell and Wingstop);[21][22]; a hair salon (Hairway);[23]; two churches (St John's Episcopal Church and Christ Lutheran Church);[24]; three schools - Bordentown Elementary School;[25]; Bordentown Middle School; and Bordentown High School; as well as numerous other small businesses.[26]
