Hazlet is a borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 10,827,[1][2] reflecting an increase of 524 (+5.4%) from the 9,906 counted in the 2000 Census.[3]
The borough was formed on April 1, 1894, from portions of Freehold Township and Howell Township.[4] Hazlet is located at (40.711695,-74.847269).[5]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough had a total area of 2.653 square miles (6.977 km2), including 2.649 square miles (6.965 km2) of land and 0.031 square mile (0.087 km2) of water (0.10%).[6]
