According to data released by Nielsen Scarborough Inc.'s 2017 report on regional consumer spending patterns - 'Nielsen Scarborough’s 2017 Report on Regional Consumer Spending Patterns' - real estate continues to be one sector where communities across America continue show strong year over year growth." Specifically within Westchester County specifically - "In 2017 alone...the total value sales volume for all types housing units within Westchester increased 5% when compared with 2016 levels." This growth can be attributed largely due to continued demand for both single family homes as well as apartments/condos although there has been some slowdown recently seen in luxury home sales activity." Overall then - "Real estate continues to be one sector where communities across America continue show strong year over year growth."

When considering real estate specifically within Armonk specifically then it should come as no surprise that according to data released by Zillow Inc.'s 2018 report on regional housing markets - 'Housing Market Trends In 2018' - "Home values increased 4% nationally during 2018" however this trend was not seen equally throughout all regions with prices increasing faster than inflation rates in most coastal states but seeing slower or no growth rates or even declining values in many Midwestern states" including Westchester County where median home prices increased 6%. This increase can likely be attributed largely due to low interest rates combined with limited supply especially given that accordingto Census Bureau data released earlier this year there has been a net increase since 2010of almost 128 thousand housing units nationwide but only about 36 thousand units have been added since 2015 when prices began their upward trajectory." While this may seem like good news for those looking for affordable homes it does present some challenges particularly given that accordingto recent reportsfrom Realtor Magazine - '2018 Top 10 Cities For Real Estate Investing' - "[T]he market conditions have shifted so much recently that investors need more than ever before...an understanding not only about local zoning laws but also about municipal finances,...and how each municipality handles development reviews" if they hope touse their money wisely when investing in real estate especially given current political climate
