Pawling is a small town located in Westchester County, New York. The population of Pawling was 10,827 as of the 2010 census. It is part of the White Plains–Arlington–Westchester Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The town was first settled in 1798 by Nicholas Bayard and his family. The area was originally known as " Pawling's Purchase." Pawling was incorporated on April 5, 1894.
