Trinity, NC

Trinity is a small town located in the northeast corner of North Carolina. The population was just over 5,000 in 2010 and has been growing at a rate of about 10% each year since then. Trinity is currently experiencing an influx of new residents due to its close proximity to both Charlotte and Raleigh, as well as its many amenities and affordable housing.

Real estate in Trinity is generally affordable compared to other areas of the state. The median home price was just over $130,000 in 2016, which is about half the median price for homes in Raleigh and Charlotte. Additionally, Trinity has a large number of rental units available, making it an ideal place to live if you are looking for something closer to work but don't want to spend too much money on rent.

One downside to living in Trinity is that it can be difficult to find good jobs here. The unemployment rate was just under 4% in 2016, which is lower than the statewide average but still higher than most other areas of North Carolina. Additionally, there isn't a lot of commercial development happening in Trinity right now so there aren't many opportunities for people who want to start their own businesses.
