The history of Falls dates back to 1740 when German settlers arrived in what was then known as Lower Nazareth Township. The town was officially incorporated on October 12, 1892. The original name for Falls was Nazareth but it was changed because it could be confused with another town in Pennsylvania called Nazareth.
