Huntingdon is a small town located in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania. The population was 2,811 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Huntingdon County.

Huntingdon was founded in 1740 and named for Henry Hastings, 3rd Duke of Somerset, who was then Secretary of State for the Southern Department.
