Leck Kill, PA

Leck Kill is a small, rural town in Berks County, Pennsylvania. The population was 1,868 at the 2010 census. Leck Kill is located in the Leck Kill Valley near the center of Berks County.

The town's economy is based on agriculture and tourism. The main crops are corn, soybeans, wheat and hay. There are also dairy farms and wineries in the area. The town has a few small businesses, including a grocery store and a gas station/convenience store. There is also a bed-and-breakfast inn and several restaurants in Leck Kill.

The primary tourist attraction in Leck Kill is the nearby Blue Mountain State Park. Other attractions include hiking trails in Blue Mountain State Park and along the banks of the Leck Kill River; fishing; horseback riding; cross country skiing; snowshoeing; tubing; picnicking; and playing golf at several local courses. There are also several historical sites in Leck Kill, including an old mill site and an early settler's home.

Leck Kill has one school district: Lickkill Valley School District which includes three schools: Lickkill Valley Elementary School (K-5), Lickkill Valley Middle School (6-8) and Lickkill Valley High School (9-12).
