Stillwater is a borough in Snyder County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,811 at the 2010 census. Stillwater is located in the south-central part of the county and is bordered by Uniontown to the southwest, Lewisburg to the west, and Somerset to the north.

The borough was settled in 1798 by Nicholas Stillwell and others from Cumberland County. The town was named for General James Wilkinson's home in Scotland. A post office has been in operation at Stillwater since 1802.
