Bell Buckle is a small town in Hamilton County, Tennessee, located just outside of Chattanooga. The population was 2,921 at the 2010 census. Bell Buckle is known for its historic architecture and well-preserved downtown area.

The town was founded in 1818 by James Bell and his brother-in-law, John McMillan. The name " Bell Buckle" comes from the buckle on McMillan's belt which jingled as he walked. The town grew rapidly due to its location on the Cumberland River and the arrival of the railroad in 1875. By 1900, Bell Buckle had a population of over 5,000 people.

Today, Bell Buckle is a small town with a rich history. The downtown area is well preserved and features many historic buildings including the courthouse (built in 1892), several churches (including First Presbyterian Church), and several businesses that are still operational today (such as the J&M General Store). There are also several parks located throughout the town which provide residents with opportunities to enjoy nature while also enjoying some of the historical attractions that make Bell Buckle such a special place to live.
