Colorado City, TX

Colorado City is a small town located in Pecos County, Texas. The population of Colorado City was 2,811 as of the 2010 census. The town is situated on the eastern edge of Pecos County and is bordered by the towns of Hidalgo to the north and east, and San Angelo to the south. Colorado City is home to several oil wells and natural gas pipelines.

The town's economy is based largely on its oil production and related industries. However, due to declining oil prices Colorado City has been struggling economically in recent years. As a result, many businesses have closed or moved away from the town. In addition, many residents have left because of high unemployment rates and low wages.
