Laneville, TX

Laneville is a small town located in central Texas. The population is just over 1,000 people and the median household income is just over $50,000. Laneville has a strong agricultural economy and many of the residents are farmers or ranchers. However, the town has seen a recent surge in real estate activity as new homes and commercial properties have been built.

The Laneville area is well-known for its rolling hills and fertile soil. There are several large farms in the area, but most of the land is used for grazing or farming. The town was founded in 1881 by George W. Lane and his wife, Sarah Ann (née Hicks). They named it after their home county in Virginia.
