Tooele, UT

Tooele is a city located in Tooele County, Utah, United States. The population was 17,856 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Tooele County.

The city was founded in 1868 and named for General Brigham Young's son, Heber C. Young. The first post office opened on July 4, 1868 with Brigham Young as postmaster. The city was incorporated on February 12, 1898.
